A collaboration between Still I Rise and Conthackto to support students at the IB School in Nairobi with an international mentorship program.

How the program works

A six-month journey. A 1:1 relationship. A real impact.

6months
1:1mentorship
2×monthly meetings

The match

For six months, you will be paired with a student from the Still I Rise International School in Nairobi, with the goal of supporting the development of a personal or professional project, whatever path they are choosing to pursue.

The direction

This is not a standardized program. Each mentorship is built around the individual goals, challenges, and aspirations of the student. Some are looking for support in shaping an entrepreneurial idea. Others want guidance on their academic path. Others simply need a trusted adult who takes their ambitions seriously and helps them turn those ambitions into a concrete plan.

The rhythm

We ask you to be available once or twice a month for an online meeting with your mentee. Your role is to listen, share your experience, offer perspective, suggest direction and, above all, show up consistently.

The support

The Conthackto team will carefully manage the mentor–mentee matching process and support you throughout the journey, from the initial onboarding to periodic check-ins and the conclusion of the six-month program. Neither of you will be left alone in this journey.

More than education.
Revolution.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for professionals across Europe who have built their own path, learned along the way, and are ready to share that journey with a young person in need of guidance.

If you have at least five years of professional experience, you are already qualified. Whether your background is in technology, business, education, healthcare, engineering, the arts, social impact, public policy, or any other field, your knowledge matters.

Presence

We are looking for presence: you don't need to have all the answers, but you need to show up consistently as students navigate their path.

Commitment

We are looking for commitment: the ability to dedicate up to four hours per month for six months, with flexible scheduling that fits both of your lives.

Empathy

Beyond experience, we value empathy. Understanding that listening is as important as advising, and being genuinely invested in supporting a young person's growth.

Why Still I Rise

Still I Rise was born from a belief: that every child, regardless of where they come from or what they've been through, deserves access to a world-class education. Since its founding, it has built schools and programs that serve some of the world's most vulnerable ones: refugee children, displaced families, survivors.

Why Conthackto

Conthackto was born from one belief: talent is everywhere, opportunity is not. When talent doesn't meet opportunity, it remains invisible and cannot create value.

We do not offer shortcuts or handouts. We invest in transformative experiences that help young people and communities turn potential into responsibility.

Through education, training, and mentorship, we support those who receive an opportunity so they can, in turn, create opportunities for others.
